FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (January 29, 2022) - The Lumberjacks competed far and wide this weekend, competing in three different time zones, as the distance team split between the Washington Invitational and the 114th Millrose Games while the jumpers flew to Nebraska's Adidas Classic.
Redshirt sophomore Abdihamid Nur (3:55.94), redshirt freshman Drew Bosely (3:59.33), and freshman Nico Young (3:56.00) entered the men's mile in Seattle, amongst a large pool of collegiate and professional athletes, posting three personal best times.
The star-studded trio all went sub-4, placing within the top-eight at the invitational, and positioning themselves on the NCAA indoor qualifying list; Young's altitude converted time of 3:54.07 from last week still reigns first this season, with Nur now sixth, and Bosley's previous altitude converted time, (3:58.99) 26th.

Meanwhile redshirt sophomore Theo Quax (4:02.67) and senior George Kusche (4:07.80) participated in the Michael Blum Men's Mile in New York, ultimately finishing seventh and tenth respectively.
