No. 71 Lumberjacks Ready to Host Colorado

FLAGASTAFF, Ariz. (March 24, 2023) – The No.71 Northern Arizona Women's Tennis team will play host to the University of Colorado on Monday.
 
The Lumberjacks are looking to bounce back after a close loss to New Mexico. After dropping the doubles points against the Lobos, NAU won three of their singles matches. Sophia Markova saw an easy victory on court one, with Ana Karen Guadiana Campos taking the win in a back-and-forth match on court two. Elinor Beazly picked up the 'Jacks third point with a 6-4, 7-6 win at the six spot.
 
Colorado is 8-6 so far this season, with wins against NAU conference rivals Weber State and Eastern Washington. Their win over Weber State came in a dominant 6-1 victory, easily winning the doubles point and five of six singles courts. The win against Eastern Washington was an easy 4-0 sweep as three matches went unfinished. The Buffalo also have wins against Air Force, San Francisco, Gonzaga, BYU, South Dakota, and Wyoming.
