Box Score FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (March 27, 2023) – The Northern Arizona University women's tennis team fell to the University of Colorado 1-4 this afternoon.
The 'Jacks dropped the doubles point to the Buffalo, going 2-6 on courts one and two, with court three going unfinished.
In singles play,
Patrycja Niewiadomska won NAU their lone point of the day after finishing 6-3, 6-1. Niewiadomska dominated throughout the match, never trailing as she left no doubt she would emerge victorious.
Elinor Beazley was the next to finish, dropping consecutive sets 3-6, 4-6.
Ava Neyestani played on court three, fighting hard but ultimately losing 3-6, 4-6.
On court four,
Daryna Shoshyna pushed her first set to a tiebreaker before eventually dropping it 5-7. She lost her second set 4-6 despite a strong comeback effort.
Sofia Markova and
Laura Duhl had their matches go unfinished.
