No. 73 NAU Travels to Pocatello to Take on Bengals

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (April 7, 2023) – The No. 73 Northern Arizona University women's tennis team is headed to Pocatello to take on the Idaho State Bengals in their final road trip of the season. A win will clinch at least a share of the regular season title for the 'Jacks.
 
The Lumberjacks are coming off a successful weekend in which they defeated Montana and Montana State to improve to a 6-0 conference record. NAU swept the competition in both matches, going a perfect 14-0 on the weekend.
 
The Bengals are 9-7 overall and 4-2 in conference play this season and are currently ranked fourth in the conference. Idaho State's conference wins come against Montana, Idaho, Eastern Washington, and Sacramento State.
 
Idaho State is led by Leah Kuruvilla who is 9-4 on the season. Most of her matches have been played on courts three, four, and five, and the sophomore has seen success in each spot in the lineup.
