RICHMOND, Va. (July 13, 2023) – The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has selected 718 teams to the Scholar All-America Team for the Spring 2023 semester, noting Northern Arizona University in the top 25 of women's division I programs.
Teams were selected based on their Spring 2023 team grade point averages and represent 17,487 student-athletes.
Marking the second-best GPA in the WAC, the Jacks also tied for 24
th overall in all women's division I programs. With the highest spring GPA in NAU's athletic department, the Lumberjacks put up some impressive numbers in the classroom this semester. 25 student-athletes posted a GPA of a 3.5 or higher, with 13 achieving a 4.0.
In addition to the team honors, eight student-athletes were awarded with individual Scholar All-America honors which required a 3.5 GPA or higher as well as swimming a NCAA 'A' or 'B' cut standard or an appearance at the NCAA Zone Diving Championships. The individuals honored from NAU were
