FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (February 21, 2024) – The NAU women's tennis team is on the road again this weekend as they split matches between Colorado and Colorado State.
The Lumberjacks will first head to Boulder, Colo. to take on the Buffaloes. Colorado is 9-1 so far this season, with their loss coming against Stanford. The Buffalo are currently on an eight-match winning streak and are ranked 65
th in the nation.
The 'Jacks will then travel to Fort Collins, Colo. to face the Rams. Colorado State is 3-3 on the season, with losses against Denver, BYU, and Utah. Last season when NAU upset the then No. 53 Colorado State 4-3, helping the Lumberjacks to earn their highest ranking in school history.
NAU is coming off a weekend which featured a close 3-4 loss to New Mexico. Despite being 1-2 so far this season, the 'Jacks have seen strong efforts and many bright spots.
Patrycja Niewiadomska has been dominant on court one during singles play, with a 3-0 record to start the season.
NAU will take on the Buffaloes this Friday, Feb. 23 at 6:00 p.m. MST. The 'Jacks will then play the Rams on Saturday, Feb. 24 at 1:00 p.m. MST. Live results for the match can be found
