FORT COLLINS, Colo. (February 24, 2024) – The NAU women's tennis team went 0-2 on the weekend, dropping matches against Colorado and Colorado State.
The Lumberjacks first traveled to Boulder, Colo. to take on the Buffaloes, being defeated 1-6.
Laura Duhl and
Patrycja Niewiadomska dropped their doubles match 4-6 on court two.
Ava Neyestani and
Dolavee Tumthong were defeated 1-6 on court three, while
Ana Karen Guadiana Campos and
Daryna Shoshyna's match on court one went unfinished.
In singles play,
Ana Karen Guadiana Campos earned the 'Jacks lone point of the day on court two, winning 7-6 (7-3), 7-6 (7-4).
Patrycja Niewiadomska fell 4-6, 6-4, 2-6 on court one, while
Daryna Shoshyna dropped her match 4-6, 6-3, 5-7 on court three.
Dolvaee Tumthong played on court four, dropping her match in consecutive 2-6 sets.
Ava Neyestani was defeated 0-6, 6-1 on court five, while
Andrea Noguera was defeated 2-6, 1-6 on court six.
NAU then traveled to Fort Collins, Colo. to face the Colorado State Rams, losing 2-5.
Andrea Noguera and
Dolavee Tumthong won their doubles match on court three, 6-1.
Ana Karen Guadiana Campos and
Daryna Shoshyna were defeated 2-6 on court one, with
Laura Duhl and
Patrycja Niewiadomska falling 4-6 on court two.
Daryna Shoshyna earned the first point of the day for NAU, winning 6-2, 6-1 on court three.
Dolavee Tumthong earned a point for the 'Jacks on court four, winning 7-5, 6-4.
Patrycja Niewiadomska was defeated 2-6, 4-6 on court one, while
Ana Karen Guadiana Campos lost 3-6, 1-6 on court two.
Andrea Noguera dropped her matches on court five 5-7, 4-6.
Ava Neyestani wass defeated 2-6, 4-6 on court six.
