Box Score PHOENIX, Ariz. (March14, 2024) – The NAU women's tennis team was defeated 0-4 by the No. 56 GCU Lopes this afternoon.
The Lumberjacks began their day with a doubles loss, with
Ana Karen Guadiana Campos and
Daryna Shoshyna being defeated 1-6 on court one.
Patrycja Niewiadomska and
Andrea Noguera were defeated 0-6 on court two as GCU clinched the first point.
Ava Neyestani and
Dolavee Tumthong competed on court three, with their match going unfinished.
Ana Karen Guadiana Campos put up a strong fight on court two in singles play, eventually falling in consecutive 1-6 sets.
Dolavee Tumthong lost her first set on court four 1-6, coming back strong in the second set before eventually losing 3-6.
Ava Neyestani competed on court five for the 'Jacks, with her opponent defeating her 0-6, 2-6.
Patrycja Niewiadomska competed on court one for NAU, dropping her first set 3-6, and seeing a close 2-3 second set before the match was left unfinished.
Daryna Shoshyna won her first set 6-4 on court three, with her second set going 2-3 before being left unfinished.
Andrea Noguera won her first set in a 7-5 tiebreaker on court six, with her match being left unfinished in a 0-1 second set.
