FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (March 15, 2024) – The NAU women's tennis team will return home this Sunday as they host the Idaho State Bengals on March 17.
The Lumberjacks are coming off a week of difficult matchups as they faced No. 30 Arizona State and No. 56 GCU. The 'Jacks saw strong efforts in both matches as they fell 0-4 against both ranked teams.
The Bengals are 6-3 this season and are 1-0 in conference play. Their wins have come against Utah State, Colorado Mesa, College of Idaho, Utah Tech, Portland State, and Utah Tech. Their losses have come against Utah, Boise State, and Washington State.
Last time NAU faced Idaho State, the Lumberjacks defeated the Bengals 6-1. They swept all six courts in singles play after initially dropping the doubles point. Historically, NAU is 31-5 when facing Idaho State and has won the last 30 meetings of the teams.
The Lumberjacks will host the Bengals this Sunday, Mar. 17 at the NAU Tennis Center beginning at 10:00 a.m. MST. Live results for the match can be found
