NOMINATE FOR 2026 HALL OF FAME CLASS
FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (October 29, 2025) – The Northern Arizona University Athletic Department is now accepting nominations for the 2026 Lumberjack Athletic Hall of Fame. Nominations must be received by Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2025.
Established in 1981, the Lumberjack Athletic Hall of Fame pays tribute and gives lasting recognition to student-athletes, coaches, staff and teams who have made exceptional contributions and brought recognition, honor and distinction to NAU Athletics. A new class is inducted into the Hall of Fame biennially.
Former student-athletes, coaches and staff are eligible for nomination five (5) years after their careers at Northern Arizona University have concluded. Student-athletes must have competed for a minimum of two (2) years at NAU. A team may be nominated for induction based on extraordinary accomplishment (i.e. NCAA Championship, Regional or Conference Championship).
National Championship teams are automatic selections for the Lumberjack Athletic Hall of Fame with time of induction determined by the Hall of Fame committee and NAU Athletic Director.
The newest Hall of Fame class will be inducted in conjunction with NAU Football's Hall of Fame game at a date to be determined during the 2026 season.
