PULLMAN, Wash. (November 1, 2025) - The Northern Arizona women's swimming and diving team fell 36-168 to Washington State on Saturday afternoon.
"Today was a bit rough," head swimming coach Andy Johns said. "Washington State is really, really good, and we weren't quite as sharp as yesterday. Even yesterday, we weren't as sharp as we needed to be. The good thing is that we have Friday to come home, and we've got to get ready for that. Hopefully, we can learn from this and get better."
The Lumberjacks placed second in the 400-yard freestyle relay with the A team, comprised of Evalotta Aabrams, Cydnie Perkins, Kokona Watanabe, and Gracie Munk, who recorded a time of 3:29.22.
In the 200-yard medley relay, NAU's A team of Munk, Perkins, Isahbel Krasht, and Watanabe took third place with a time of 1:44.28.
Perkins finished second in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:03.73, while Krasht earned another bronze in the 100-yard butterfly, posting a time of 56.07.
The Lumberjacks return to action this Friday, hosting New Mexico State at 1 p.m. MST in the Wall Aquatic Center.
