GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (November 19, 2025)Â -Â The Northern Arizona women's swimming team competed in the first day of the Colorado Mesa Invite on Wednesday evening, scoring 132 points.
The Lumberjacks swam in the 200-yard freestyle relay, 1000-yard freestyle, and 800-yard freestyle relay.
To open the meet, the "A" team of Gracie Munk, Cydnie Perkins, Isahbel Krasht, and Kokona Watanabe placed second in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:41.29. Colorado Mesa took first with a time of 1:40.74. NAU's "B" team—Kat Richter, Trelise Dance, Beezer Geer, and Camryn Brown—finished fourth in 1:44.03.
Keegan Knott was the lone Lumberjack in the 1000-yard freestyle, posting a time of 11:41.37.
In the 800-yard freestyle relay, Krasht, Evalotta Aabrams, Rosie Keith, and Kaci Kelaher earned silver with a time of 7:28.90. Elsa Musselman, Abbie Miller, Teddy Sabev, and Meropi Eggink placed fourth in 7:37.70.
With 132 points, Northern Arizona sits third behind Colorado Mesa (235) and Colorado School of Mines (153).
Preliminary rounds in the 500-yard freestyle, 200-yard individual medley, 50-yard freestyle, and 200-yard freestyle relay will begin Thursday at 10 a.m. MST. Finals are scheduled for 5 p.m. MST.
