FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (December 15, 2025) – Behind a career-high 30 points from
Naomi White and
Madison Watts' first career double-double, the Northern Arizona women's basketball team took a dominant 95-53 win over Park Gilbert (Ariz.) on Monday night inside Rolle Activity Center.
White is the first Lumberjack to reach the 30-point mark since
Taylor Feldman did so against South Dakota on December 7, 2024, and joins Montana's Jocelyn Land as the only two players in the Big Sky with a 30-point game this season. The redshirt freshman also grabbed five rebounds and four steals.
Watts' secured her double-double by way of 16 points and 13 rebounds for career-highs in both categories, as the sophomore reached career-best milestones for the second straight game.
Audrey Taylor contributed 12 points and seven dimes on an efficient 4-of-7 from the floor for her fourth game in double figures this season, while
Layla Davis and
Hannah Williams worked in the paint for eight boards apiece.
Park (5-7) was led by Allie Cummings with nine points and six rebounds, as the Buccaneers drop their third game in a row while being held to a season-low 53 points.
NAU (2-9) held advantages in rebounding (50-41), turnovers (25-13), points in the paint (48-24), and second-chance points (15-8) while holding Park to just over 30% shooting for the game. The Lumberjacks only led 22-19 after the opening period but would shoot over 50% in the first half to take a control of the game by halftime to lead 53-32. NAU would continue to keep its foot on the gas in the second half, reaching its largest lead of the contest late in the fourth quarter at the 2:22 mark as all active Lumberjacks saw action.
The victory snaps NAU's seven-game skid as the 'Jacks look to pick up momentum with Big Sky Conference play beginning in the new year. NAU will first head to California to play its last games of 2025, first facing Cal State Northridge on Thursday, December 18. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. Mountain Standard time and will be streamed on ESPN+.
