FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (December 23, 2025) – For the first time since the spring 2021 season, the Northern Arizona football team placed a Lumberjack on The Associated Press FCS All-America First Team.
Ben D'Aquila garnered the First Team punter nod, marking his second All-American honor.
Last week, D'Aquila was named to the Stats Perform FCS All-America First Team. D'Aquila was one of four players from the Big Sky on the AP's All-America First Team.
D'Aquila is the first Lumberjack on The Associated Press All-America First Team since Luis Aguilar was a repeat first team selection following the spring 2021 season.
The La Verne, Calif. native closed his collegiate career with a record-breaking season. D'Aquila led the FCS, and ranked second in all of Division I at the end of the regular season, with a 48.7 punt average, which broke both the Big Sky Conference and NAU single-season records.
His record-breaking season lifted his two-year NAU career average to 47.8, which also broke the league and school career punting records.
In addition to D'Aquila, wide receiver
Kolbe Katsis and defensive back
Quentin Moten were named honorable mention All-Americans by The Associated Press.
