NAU Women’s Tennis Set for Two Big Sky Road Matchups

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (March 14, 2025) – NAU Women's Tennis is on the road this weekend, taking on Idaho on Saturday morning followed by a trip to Eastern Washington on Sunday morning.
 
The Lumberjacks are heading into the week riding a four-game win streak after picking up victories to Idaho State, New Mexico, Montana State, and Richmond. Northern Arizona heads into the week with an impressive 45-13 overall singles record followed by a 16-11 overall doubles record.
 
Northern Arizona's Daryna Shoshyna and Andrea Noguera lead the team in singles, each holding a 9-1 record with Shoshyna primarily playing at the No. 2, and Noguera primarily playing at the No. 3. Patrycja Niewiadomska holds a 7-2 record with four wins coming at the No. 1, while winning her last seven finished contests. Laura Duhl has won her last four matchups, boasting a 5-1 overall record.
 
In doubles play, Shohyna and Elen Jantacova lead the Jacks with a 6-3 record, followed by a 3-2 record from Noguera and Ruslana Kovalenko. The Jacks will play these two matchups on the road before returning home to host GCU on Thursday, March 20 as the match was rescheduled from its originally set date of March 12.
