PHOENIX, Ariz. (March 29, 2025) - The Northern Arizona women's golf team completed the second round of the PING/ASU Invitational, scoring 295 (+7) for a 585 (+9) total, placing seventh overall.
Arizona State continues to lead the tournament, with a -13 round today, bringing their total to -28, 15 strokes ahead of Northwestern.
In the second round, three Lumberjacks - Lizzie Neale, Nina Lukyanenko, and Amy Hodgkins - each shot a 73 (+1).
Neale picked up two birdies on holes 14 and 18, bringing her total to even-par, placing her in a tie for 13th.
Lukyanenko birdied the first, fifth, and 15th holes, moving her to a tie for 26th on the leaderboard.
Hodgkins also made three birdies, with back-to-back on the fifth and sixth holes and another on the 12th. She is tied for 30th with an overall score of +3.
Frankie Dezis shot 76 (+4) with three birdies on the second, ninth, and 12th holes. She is tied for 51st with a +6 cumulative score.
Ellena Slater rounded out the lineup, shooting 79 (+7) and carding a birdie on the 12th hole. She is currently tied for 57th with a +7 total.
Sumin Kang, competing as an individual, posted a round of 75 (+3), bringing her 36-hole total to +12. She sits in solo 68th.
For tomorrow's third and final round, the Lumberjacks will begin at 8:00 a.m. Mountain Standard time in a shotgun start. Live scoring will be available via Clippd Scoreboard.
