FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (May 21, 2025) – Northern Arizona Basketball announces the latest signee in 6'6 wing, Erez Poran.
"We are super excited to have Erez as part of our 2025-2026 team. His love of basketball and desire to be great was noticeable from the first time we spoke. On the court Erez is a versatile wing that can guard multiple positions and knock down open shots. We can't wait to get him to Flagstaff and welcome him to our basketball family," head coach

Poran comes to Flagstaff out of Isarael, where he played two seasons with Maccabi Haifa. In 2022, Poran averaged 11.0 points and eight rebounds, while improving to 15.0 points per game, and 10.0 rebounds per game in his second season. Poran began his professional career in 2024, playing for Hapoel Emek Hefer, averaging 9.0 points in his first season and 12.5 in his second.
