At last year's George Kyte Classic, the NAU men turned in a flawless performance, recording a perfect team score of 15 points by sweeping the top five positions. The women were equally commanding, placing five runners in the top six en route to a near-perfect team score of 20 points. The roster welcomes new faces, highlighted by transfers and incoming freshmen eager to make their Buffalo Park debuts in the blue and gold.Â
This year's George Kyte Classic will be the first under new Director of Cross Country and Track & Field
Jarred Cornfield, who takes the reins of the storied program after nearly a decade as an assistant and associate head coach. Cornfield will look to continue the program's tradition of excellence while shaping the next chapter of NAU distance running.
