FARMINGTON, Utah (January 14, 2026) – In a vote by the league's head coaches, the Northern Arizona women's tennis team was picked to finish second in the Big Sky Conference, announced this morning.
NAU finished 14-3 and a perfect 8-0 in Big Sky matches in the 2025 Spring season. The Lumberjacks return four players from last years' squad, highlighted by senior
Patrycja Niewiadomska, who competed in the ITA All-American Championships this past fall. Niewiadomska amassed a 14-2 overall record in 2025, including a perfect 9-0 in matches on court two.
Andrea Noguera,
Leontina Stojanovic, and
Elen Jantacova round out the returners, while junior
Natalie Rainke joins the squad from at Valdosta State where she went 19-17 over two seasons. Amongst the freshman class are Phoenix native
Mia Wolter and Canadian Madelynne Ludwig.
