NAU Athletics Announces Home Court Move for Men’s and Women’s Basketball to Rolle Activity Center

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (October 12, 2026) – This basketball season, Findlay Toyota Court is moving to the Rolle Activity Center.

Both the Northern Arizona men's and women's basketball teams will make a full-time transition to the Rolle Activity Center starting with the 2026-27 women's basketball home opener against UC Irvine on Tuesday, Nov. 10. The men's basketball team will play its first home game of the season a week later against Embry-Riddle on Tuesday, Nov. 17. Both games will tip-off at 6 p.m. MST.

With the move to the Rolle Activity Center, NAU Athletics will host three public pick-your-own seat season ticket events for fans in Rolle. The first will be tomorrow, Oct. 13, from 7:30-8:30 p.m. Fans will have a second opportunity to pick their seats in person on Tuesday, Oct. 20, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. with a chance to see the NAU volleyball team in action during their match against Portland State. The last pick-your-seat event will be Wednesday, Oct. 21, from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

"Since arriving in Flagstaff, I have taken an extensive look at many areas of operation within NAU Athletics and one area we needed to upgrade was the basketball atmosphere for both of our hoops programs," said Vice President and Director of Athletics Dr. Richard Duran. "A move to the Rolle Activity Center will greatly enhance not only the playing atmosphere for our men's and women's basketball programs. I can't wait for fans to rock the Rolle all season long."

Attending any of the three public pick-your-seat events is not a requirement for fans to secure their season tickets. Season tickets can be purchased by contacting the Lumberjack Ticket Office at LumberjackTicketOffice@nau.edu or by calling 928-523-0639. Single game tickets for both men's and women's basketball will go on sale on Monday, Oct. 26.

The full-time move to the Rolle Activity Center was predicated by two main points. The first is to create a more intimate competitive Division I basketball atmosphere for both programs that will enhance the experience for the Lumberjack student-athletes on Findlay Toyota Court.

Additionally, both programs have enjoyed incredible success playing in Rolle Activity Center. Over the last four seasons, the men's team is 11-1 and the women's team is 11-3 with both teams notching impressive victories during this stretch.

"We are always looking to elevate NAU Athletics across the board and we will evaluate our basketball transition to Rolle this season," Duran said. "This is not necessarily a long-term move, but one at the same time we hope to see succeed for our basketball programs, coaches and student-athletes and fans."

Two years ago, the women's basketball team beat Arizona and Oral Roberts, the latter of which won 24 games. Going back even further, the Lumberjack women also defeated Arizona in 2017. In the last two seasons, the NAU men have logged wins over SEMO, UIW and South Dakota, each of whom won at least 19 games during the season they lost to the 'Jacks in Rolle.

While unrelated to basketball, the Rolle Activity Center home court advantage can be traced back to the NAU volleyball team earning victories over Florida and LSU in consecutive seasons in 2018 and 2019. Florida was the reigning national runner-up when it lost to NAU in five sets.

Even with the move to Rolle, fans will still be able to select both reserved and general admission seating. The full Rolle Activity Center seating map can be viewed below.
