Lumberjacks Bounce Back, Take Down the Falcons 5-2

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (February 1, 2026) - Northern Arizona notched a 5-2 win over the Air Force Falcons on Sunday morning, bouncing back from a loss just two days prior.
 
The Lumberjacks jumped out to an early 1-0 lead after grabbing the doubles point. NAU lost the first doubles match on court one, but duos on court three and two pulled out wins to take the early lead.
 
At the No. 1 position, Patrycja Niewiadomska grabbed her second win in a row, following up her double bagel performance on Friday. Niewiadomska won her match in straight sets, 6-3, 6-2. 
 
Leotina Stojanovic played strong in her match, and clinched the victory for the Lumberjacks after a straight set, 6-4, 6-3 win on court five. The win marked her first singles victory of the season. 
 
Andrea Noguera also got her first win of the season, and her first win at the No. 2 spot as a Lumberjack, taking her match in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4.
 
Natalie Rainke finished off the day on a positive note, winning a three set battle on court three. Rainke lost the first set, but rallied in the second and third to claim her second win of the season.
