Lumberjacks Honor Trio of Seniors in Home Finale Against Vandals

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (February 26, 2026) – The Northern Arizona women's basketball team suffered an 85-57 loss to Idaho on Thursday night on Findlay Toyota Court inside the Walkup Skydome. NAU moves to 10-19 and 6-10 in Big Sky action while Idaho improves to 24-5 and 15-1, winning its 13th straight to remain atop the league standings.

Naomi White (12 points, eight rebounds, three steals) and Simone Morris (10 points, six rebounds) paced NAU (10-19, 6-10), who suffered a season-low shooting percentage of just 24.1% (20-83), and collected a season-high 50 rebounds but allowed 66 from the Vandals, the most by an opponent this season. The Lumberjacks were able to take advantage of their fast pace, holding a 17-9 lead in fast break points.

Audrey Taylor recorded six points, five rebounds, one assist, one steal and her first career block, while fellow senior Kayla Williams posted four points, five boards, and one steal in their final games in the Dome.

Idaho shot 50% in the opening period, allowing it to build a 25-14 lead following the first quarter, but it was a 20-0 scoring run bridging the halves that gave the Vandals a firm grasp on the contest midway through the third quarter. The Lumberjacks trailed 66-31 heading into the final quarter but outscored the Vandals 26-19 in the final period to end on an upward trajectory.

NAU's trio of true freshman had solid outings, led by J'Bionna Robinson with eight points, four assists, and three steals in 16 minutes. Addison Dunn collected three rebounds, one assist and her first career block while Hannah Williams flew around with six points, six rebounds, one assist and one steal.

NAU will play its final two games of the regular season on the road, starting Saturday, Feb. 28 against Eastern Washington. Tipoff with the Eagles is slated for 4:30 p.m. MST and will be streamed on ESPN+.
