FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (February 4, 2026) – On National Signing Day, Northern Arizona football added three incoming freshmen to its 2026 signing class, in an announcement by Northern Arizona head football coach
Brian Wright.
The Lumberjacks received official commitments from safety DeVohn Moutra Jr. (Gardena, Calif./Serra HS), defensive lineman Gunnar Parra (Prescott, Ariz./Prescott HS) and athlete Kino Lorona (Winkelman, Ariz./Hayden HS). The three new signees join NAU's
early signing class of 22 announced in December.
"While smaller in number, today's additions are significant for our program," Wright said. "We welcomed three outstanding young men to the Lumberjacks, who add versatility, playmaking ability and tremendous upside. This group strengthens what is already a historic signing class and reflects the standard we're building moving forward."
Following the early signing period in December, NAU's incoming class was the third-highest rated in the FCS and NAU's highest ranked class in the 247 Sports era.

Two-time 1A Conference Player of the Year (2024, 2025)…Two-time 1A East Region Player of the Year (2024, 2025)…Three-time 1A East Region First Team at linebacker and running back…1A East Region Offensive Player of the Year in 2023…Rushed for 4,655 yards and 79 touchdowns during career…Averaged 14.6 yards per carry…Ran for 2,125 yards and 32 touchdowns as a senior…Also accumulated 43 receptions for 1,328 yards and 19 touchdowns…Totaled 306 career tackles, 9.0 sacks and 15 interceptions on defense…Member of four 1A State Championship teams at Hayden…Also played basketball and baseball…2025 1A Conference Player of the Year in baseball.
DeVohn Moutra Jr.

Three-star recruit…League Player of the Year…Two-time First Team All-League…Second Team All-Area…Totaled 211 tackles, 23.0 tackles-for-loss, 8.5 sacks and three interceptions during career at Serra…Also totaled six passes defended, four forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries…Recorded 47 tackles in seven games as a senior…Returned a fumble, interception and punt for a touchdown during his career…Also played running back and rushed for 595 career yards on 8.5 yards per carry.
Gunnar Parra
6-4 – 225 – Defensive Line
Prescott, Ariz./Prescott HS
4A All-Conference Second Team and 4A Grand Canyon Region First Team as a senior at linebacker…Recorded 89 tackles and 14.0 tackles-for-loss in final season at Prescott…Also tabbed 4.5 sacks and one fumble recovery…Compiled 166 career tackles, 25.0 tackles-for-loss and 8.0 sacks…Named 4A Grand Canyon Region Honorable Mention in 2023 and 2024.
