FARMINGTON, Utah (February 4, 2026) – Northern Arizona women's tennis senior
Patrycja Niewiadomska has been named the Big Sky Player of the Week, the conference announced Wednesday morning.
The award comes of the heels of a week in which Niewiadomska went 2-0 in singles play on court one. She stands at 2-1 overall on the season, with both of her victories this past week arriving in straight sets. Niewiadomska's first win last week was especially impressive, as she captured a double-bagel, 6-0, 6-0 win over New Mexico State's Nadia Nemeth.
The native of Bielsko-Biala, Poland, has also accumulated a 3-0 record in doubles so far this season, all alongside fellow Lumberjack
Andrea Noguera on court one.
Niewiadomska and the Lumberjacks will be back in action later this month, as NAU travels to Albuquerque to face New Mexico on Feb. 21.
