FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (March 13, 2026) – The Northern Arizona women's tennis team continues Big Sky Conference action with a road match at Sacramento State this weekend. The Lumberjacks will face the Hornets on Sunday, March 15 at 11 a.m. MST.
The Jacks stand at 2-4 overall and 1-0 in league contests entering this match, following a 7-0 loss at UNLV to mark their first shutout on the season. NAU opened conference play on March 1 at Weber State, taking a 5-2 win over the Wildcats.
The Hornets were picked to three-peat as Big Sky Champions in the 2026 Preseason Poll and bring a 9-4 record into their meeting with NAU. Sacramento State is 2-0 in conference matches so far, beating Montana and Montana State on the road to open the month.
The Lumberjacks will look to avenge a 4-0 loss in last season's final match of the Big Sky Championships to the Hornets, and improve to 10-12 in the all-time series record.
