FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (March 5, 2026) - The Lumberjacks women's tennis team heads to Sin City this weekend to take on the UNLV Rebels.
NAU enters this contest fresh off their second win of the season, as it beat the Weber State Wildcats, 5-2 on March 1.
Patrycja Niewiadomska increased her winning streak to four singles wins in a row in the contest. The senior's only loss this season was against the Arizona Wildcats at the No. 1 position in the season opener on Jan. 19.
The Rebels are sitting at 4-2 with the pair of losses coming at the hands of Big 12 members Colorado and Iowa State. UNLV has one common opponent with the Lumberjacks in Weber State, who they beat in the first match of their season, 7-0.
The Lumberjacks have had some tight matchups with the Rebels in the past. NAU won most recently by the slimmest of margins, 4-3 in 2024. Niewiadomska and
Andrea Noguera are the only current Lumberjacks to face off against UNLV.
