Lizzie Neale Earns Big Sky Golfer of the Year, Dezis and Hodgkins Make All-Conference First Team

LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz. (April 19, 2026) - The Big Sky Conference office has released its 2025-26 Women's Golf All-Conference Team and Individual Award Winners, recognizing the league's top players ahead of the conference championship tournament at The Wigwam.

Northern Arizona's Lizzie Neale has been named Big Sky Golfer of the Year, breaking a six-season streak by Sacramento State of having an individual claim the title. With this honor, Neale becomes the first Lumberjack since Sofia Anokhina in 2017 to earn Player of the Year from the Big Sky.

Neale, a senior from New Zealand, will enter the Big Sky Championship ranked No. 179 in the NCAA, finishing the regular season with a scoring average of 71.6 for the Lumberjacks. She was joined on the Big Sky All-Conference First Team by teammates Amy Hodgkins and Frankie Dezis.

Neale has a season scoring average of 71.76, with 14 rounds this season at par or better. Of the seven tournaments played so far this season, the senior has finished in the top-15 five times. Her best finish this year being a solo third at The Clash at Boulder Creek in October with rounds of 69-69-69 (-9).

Hodgkins heads into the Big Sky tournament with a season scoring average of 72.78 and 11 rounds played at par or better. The junior has had two top-five performances, including a co-champion win at The Red Rocks Invitational with 65-72-73 (-6). 

Fellow junior Dezis has averaged 73.52 this season, with nine rounds at par or better. She finished in the top-10 on three occasions, with a strong start to the year with a tie for second at the Branch Law Firm Dick McGuire Invitational (74-72-68).
