FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (April 19, 2026) - The Northern Arizona Women's Golf Team will head to the Big Sky Conference Championship this week at the Wigwam Blue Course. The three-day tournament will take place from April 20-22, with Weber State serving as the host school.
The tournament will be played over three days, with 18 holes scheduled each day. Tee times on day one will begin at 6:30 a.m. MST, while NAU will begin play at 8:40 a.m. MST alongside Montana State and Northern Colorado. Live scoring will be available via Scoreboard Clippd.
Representing NAU in the lineup will be Lizzie Neale, Amy Hodgkins, Frankie Dezis, Lydia Lin, and Nina Lukyanenko.
In 2025, the Lumberjacks finished fourth at +19. Hodgkins led the way, shooting 72-70-70 for a one-under total, placing third. Lukyanenko had a career-best finish, posting 75-68-72 (+2) to take eighth place on the leaderboard. Dezis also secured a top-20 finish with rounds of 75-73-74 (+9). Sacramento State defended its title with a one-over-par total and has won four of the last five years.
Northern Arizona lifted the team trophy in 2022 with a three-day total of 8-over par (872), defeating Sacramento State by six strokes. Ekaterina Malakova was the individual champion, finishing 5-under for the three rounds. Despite having only four players, the team advanced to the NCAA Regionals in Albuquerque, N.M., placing 12th with a final 54-hole score of 930 (+66) - their first regional appearance since 2015.
Neale became the individual Big Sky Champion in 2024, carding a remarkable 203 (-10). Neale broke both the NAU and Big Sky Conference records for 54 holes, and her final round of 64 (-7) also set new program and conference records. She went on to represent NAU at the NCAA Regionals in Las Vegas, Nev., finishing 49th overall with a score of 230 (+14) over 54 holes.
The Lumberjacks most recently competed at the Chevron Silverado Showdown in Napa, Calif., finishing 14th with a 36-over-par total (900) for the tournament. Hodgkins and Neale led the way with a tied 27th finish, both at 4-over, highlighted by a 4-under 68 in the final round by Hodgkins.
This season, the 'Jacks have won two tournaments, both of which they have hosted - The Clash at Boulder Creek (-24) and The Red Rocks Invitational (-10).
