Lukyanenko Moves into First Place as NAU Continues to Lead Big Sky Championship

LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz. (April 21, 2026) - The Northern Arizona women's golf team continues to lead the Big Sky Conference Championship after 36 holes of play. The Lumberjacks are at -3 through two rounds, holding a five-stroke lead over second-place Northern Colorado.

Nina Lukyanenko moved into the top spot on the leaderboard after carding another under-par round of 70 (-1). The senior had a slow start in round two, going three-over through the first eight holes. However, a birdie on the par-3 ninth hole sparked a strong comeback. Lukyanenko added another birdie on hole 10, followed by additional birdies on the 12th and 14th holes, and capped her round with a final birdie on hole 18 to finish the day under par.

Her five birdies today bring her total to eight, which is tied for third in the field. With 24 pars, she ranks tied for fifth most. Lukyanenko is currently playing the par-3 holes at even-par, tied for the third-best mark in the field. She is also the only player under par on par-4 holes, averaging 3.93 (-1), and is tied for fifth in par-5 scoring with an average of 4.7 (-3).

Three Lumberjacks shot even-par rounds of 71.

Frankie Dezis is tied for third at -1 going into the final round. The junior finished the front nine in one-over par, picking up birdies on holes three and five. She opened the back nine with a birdie on the par-5 10th and closed with another birdie on the par-5 18th, finishing the back nine at one-under. Dezis leads the tournament in par-5 scoring with an average of 4.40 (-6).

Amy Hodgkins is tied for seventh at +1. She made an early birdie on the fourth hole but dropped a couple of shots before the turn. A birdie on hole 14 brought her back to +2 for the day. Hodgkins closed the final four holes with a string of pars and capped her round with an eagle on the par-5 18th. After hitting her approach from 205 meters to 18 feet, she drained the eagle putt to finish even-par for the round.

Lizzie Neale is also tied for seventh at +1. She started the day with a birdie on hole one and picked up three more on holes four, 10, and 14. Neale is currently second in par-3 scoring with an average of 2.92 (-1).

Dezis, Hodgkins, and Neale are all tied for fourth in par-4 scoring with an average of 4.07 (+1).

Lydia Lin carded a two-over 73 to bring her total to +6, which places her tied for 24th. The freshman birdied holes 14 and 18. She is currently playing the par-5 holes two-under par, with an average of 4.80.

As a team, NAU ranks second in total birdies with 33 and total pars with 111. The Lumberjacks lead the field in par-4 scoring average at 4.13 (+9) and rank second in par-3 scoring at 3.10 (+6) and par-5 scoring at 4.76 (-12).


Northern Arizona will play the third and final round alongside Northern Colorado and Montana State. Lin will go out first for the 'Jacks at 8:40 a.m. MST. Live scoring can be found on Clippd Scoreboard.
