Lumberjacks Sit 13th After Second Round at Chevron Silverado Showdown

NAPA, Calif. (April 7, 2026) - Northern Arizona women's golf completed the second round of the Chevron Silverado Showdown on Tuesday.

The Lumberjacks sit in 13th place at 26-over-par (602) through 36 holes. No. 2 Southern California continues to lead the team standings at -17, maintaining its grip on the top spot in a competitive 16-team field. Individually, Eastern Michigan's Janae Leovao is the tournament leader at the midway point after rounds of 71-67 (-6).

Lizzie Neale leads the team at 1-over-par (145) and is tied for 19th. Neale followed her even-par opening round with a 1-over 73 in round two to continue pacing the Lumberjacks. The senior went +2 on the front nine but bounced back with three consecutive birdies to start the back nine. She added another on the 16th to finish with a -1 back nine. Neale has 25 total pars, tied for 12th most in the field, while her five birdies are tied for 31st. She is even-par on par 3s and par 5s and +1 on par 4s.

Frankie Dezis delivered one of the team's best improvements in the second round, bouncing back with an even-par 72 after an opening 76 (+4). She sits tied for 30th at +4 (148). The junior tallied three birdies on the day, including back-to-back birdies on holes nine and 10, and another on hole 15. Dezis is tied for 19th in the field with six total birdies and tied for 39th with 22 pars. She is averaging +1 on par 3s and -2 on par 5s.

Amy Hodgkins carded an 80 (+8) in the second round, bringing her total to +8 and into a tie for 56th. She is averaging even-par on par 3s and is tied with Dezis with 22 total pars.

Freshman Lydia Lin posted an 81 (+9) in the second round after opening with a 76, bringing her total to +13 and tied for 77th. She has recorded 21 pars and two birdies through two rounds.

Nina Lukyanenko rounded out the lineup, also finishing with an 81 (+9) to sit at +17, tied for 86th overall.

With one round remaining, Northern Arizona will look to improve its position as it attempts to climb out of the lower half of the standings. The tournament concludes Wednesday with the final 18 holes beginning at 8:30 a.m. MST with a shotgun start. The Lumberjacks will begin on holes 14 through 17 and will play alongside San Francisco (+30), Washington State (+30) and CSU Northridge (+37).
