Tim Handel won at both No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles in the NAU men's tennis team's 4-3 spring opening win versus Portland on Saturday, Jan. 26. Both of his wins proved to be critical, as he and Ruben Montano won 6-3 at No. 1 doubles to clinch the doubles point. Handel's 6-4, 7-6 singles win at No. 1 then tied the match at 3-3 before the Lumberjacks were able to pull out the match victory over the Pilots.
