Sykora Walker posted her first career event win during the NAU track & field team's NAU Tune Up Meet on Friday, Jan. 15. Walker, in her first meet of the indoor season, claimed first overall in the women's weight throw setting a new personal-best with a throw of 17.20m. She bested Courtney Logan of Grand Canyon for first place in the weight throw heading into this week's Big Sky Indoor Track & Field Championships.
