Maggie Carruth was one of two Lumberjack women to win an individual gold and was part of NAU's distance medley relay gold medal winning team during the 2019 Big Sky Indoor Track & Field Championships. Carruth helped the NAU women's team finish third in the conference. She won the 800m race with a time of 2:11.79 in her only individual event. On the Lumberjacks' DMR winning team, she ran the third leg to pick up her second gold medal of the meet. Carruth also won bronze as part of NAU's 4x400m relay team.
