Lucas Taylor helped the NAU men's tennis team extend their winning streak to seven matches over the weekend with a pair of 7-0 conference victories against Idaho State and Portland State. Taylor was undefeated winning both of singles matches at No. 2 and both of his doubles matches at No. 3 versus the Bengals and Vikings. Along with his doubles partner Facundo Tumosa, Taylor clinched the doubles point versus Idaho State on Friday, March 22 with a 6-4 win, then followed that up 6-1, 6-7(3), 1-0(7) singles victory against Peter Trhac. Taylor posted a quick 6-2 doubles win on Sunday, March 24 to start the Portland State match, and then won his second three-set singles match of the weekend against Lucas Costelo Branco, 6-7(3), 6-2, 1-0(10).
