Luis Aguilar was named the Big Sky ROOT SPORTS Special Teams Player of the Week after connecting on a career-long 57-yard field goal in the NAU football team's 41-23 victory over Northern Colorado on Saturday, Oct. 5. His 57-yard field goal was the longest made field goal by an NAU kicker since 2000 and is the longest make by an FCS player this season. Aguilar was made a 31-yard field goal and all five extra point attempts while averaging 65.0 yards on seven kickoff attempts. He also added one punt for 43 yards.
