Andy Trouard won the NCAA National Championship in the 3000m race last Saturday, becoming the first Lumberjack to win an individual title at nationals since 2010. He also finished fifth in the 5000m race, earning First Team All-American honors in both events. Trouard's performance helped NAU finish 15th in the nation with 14 team points. The Lumberjacks had the second-highest team finish out of mid-majors schools in the country.
