FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (October 3, 2018) – The Northern Arizona Swimming and Diving team has released their 2018-2019 schedule as they look to remain on top in the Western Athletic Conference.
The 'Jacks kicked off their season with the 23
rd annual Pentathlon on Sept. 21
st in the Aquatic and Tennis Center where
Niamh McDonagh was able to take home first place over
Monique King for the second straight year. To finish off its preseason, Northern Arizona will host their Blue and Gold scrimmage on Oct. 5
th in Flagstaff, Ariz.
The Lumberjacks season will consist of ten different meets on the season that are from Oct. 26
th to Feb. 2
nd.
NAU's home schedule for 2018-2019 will consist of three different Lumberjack Invites and one meet with both Northern Colorado and Kansas coming to town. The dates of the Lumberjack Invite for swimming is Nov. 16
th-17
th. While the Lumberjack Invites for diving are Nov. 16
th – 18
th and Feb 1
st- 2
nd. The WAC conference matchup with Northern Colorado will be on Jan 11
th.
The Lumberjacks road schedule will consist of six different meets that will have them traveling from coast to coast on the season. Some of the key meets are an in-conference matchup against Idaho on Nov. 3
rd and the UCLA Diving Invite from Jan 18
th-20
th. Over winter break, NAU will be able to enjoy a nice trip down to South Florida as they take on Florida Atlantic on Dec. 20
th.
