SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — The Northern Arizona men's tennis team is now 1-2 on the season after losing 7-0 tonight to the University of Utah Utes in their third match of the season.
The Utes clinched the doubles point with wins at the No. 1 and No. 3 positions before Lumberjacks
Lucas Taylor and
Sebastian Eguez had a chance to finish their match at the No. 2 position.
Utah dominated in singles winning on every court. Taylor and
Felix Schumann were the only Lumberjacks to win sets on their courts forcing three before falling to their opponents.
Northern Arizona will not compete next weekend, but will return to action on the road against Arizona Saturday, Feb. 17 at 9 a.m. and Nebraska Sunday, Feb. 18 at 10 a.m. Both matches will be played in Tucson, Ariz.
