TULSA, Okla. (September 19, 2026) - Jakub Jedrzejczak fought hard, but fell short in the first round of the ITA All-American Championships after a three set battle, 6-4, 1-6, 6-4. The native of Bielsko-Biala, Poland was the lone qualifier from the Big Sky Conference at the tournament.
In the match, Jedrzejczak faced Saahith Jayaraman from Duke. It was Jayaraman's second time competing in this tournament, compared to Jedrzejczak's first.
A break for the Blue Devil in the first set put him up a set, but Jedrzejczak bounced back in the second set in dominating fashion. The third set was extremely tight but a late break gave Jayaraman the advantage and the match.
The Lumberjacks men's tennis team will be back in action on Oct. 6 at the ITA Regional Championships in Provo, Utah.
