Box Score LAS VEGAS (February 25, 2019) – The Northern Arizona men's tennis team fell to UNLV 7-0 in Las Vegas, Nev. This loss marks the third straight loss for the Lumberjacks and moves them to a record of 3-6 on the season. With the win, UNLV moves to 8-1 in the regular season.
NAU began the match against the Rebels on a strong note as they won the first doubles match of the day. The Lumberjacks No. 3 pair of
Lucas Taylor and
Facundo Tumosa were able to defeat Milos Dabic and Richard Solberg by a score of 6-1. Following the win, the 'Jacks fell in the other two doubles matches causing them to lose the first point.
In singles, Northern Arizona couldn't get anything going as they fell in all six singles matches in the event. NAU's No. 1 and No. 2 singles had the best results as they both pushed their matches to three sets.
