MEET SCHEDULE
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (March 7, 2019) – The 2019 NCAA Indoor Championships are set to take place in Birmingham this weekend on March 8th and 9th. The event will be hosted by The University of Alabama at Birmingham and will be held at The Birmingham CrossPlex.
ESPN3 will stream the championships live starting at 5:30 P.M. (MST) March 8 and starting at 4 P.M. (MST) March 9. A re-air of the championship will take place starting at 9 p.m. (MST) Sunday, March 10 on ESPN2 and again Monday, March 11 starting at 9 p.m. (MST) on ESPNU.
NAU is sending Luis Grijalva and Tyler Day to Alabama to race in the Men's 5000m Run. Geordie Beamish will be joining the pair on the trip but will be running in the Men's Mile Run.
The 5000m Run will have one race as the finals, the mile however will feature two heats in a preliminary round. The top four plus next two fastest advance to final, which will be held on Saturday.
The mile will begin at approximately 4:50 p.m. (MST) and the 5000m race is slated to start at 7:27 p.m. (MST).
