Men’s Tennis Signs Five-Star Recruit Morgan Donovan

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (November 12, 2020) – Northern Arizona University's men's tennis have signed nationally ranked five-star recruit and No. 1 ranked recruit in Arizona, Morgan Donovan. Donovan will join the Lumberjack family in the fall of 2021.

"I am very excited to add Morgan Donovan to our roster for Fall 2021," head coach Maciej Bogusz said. "He is a No. 1 recruit out of our state and I am very happy that we were able to keep him in Arizona. Morgan is a great young man and I can't wait to see him excel in college. He went through tough couple of years and has proved that he is a fighter, his story will inspire many. Welcome to the family."

Most recently, Donovan - a five-star recruit according to tennisrecruiting.net - participated in Phoenix Junior Masters Championships on Nov. 7-9, where he advanced to the semifinals, sweeping his first opponent in round one and winning 6-1 in both quarterfinals sets.

Donovan trained with Jeremy Coll, an NAU alumni who played from 2001-05, at the Eurotennis Academy.
