FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (February 6, 2020) – Northern Arizona's men's tennis will be back this weekend for three matches, with the first one in Las Vegas against UNLV Friday at 2 p.m.
UNLV has a perfect season record of 4-0. The Rebels have clinched matches against New Mexico State (4-0), UC Riverside (4-0), Pacific (4-1) and Hawai'i (4-1). Similar to UNLV, Northern Arizona took their first win of the season over Riverside, 5-2.
This Sunday, the 'Jacks will be at home for a double header against Western New Mexico. The first match will begin at 9 a.m. with the second at 2 p.m. Before the afternoon match, there will be free pizza to all fans, while supplies last, as well as a ping pong table set up in the foyer.
During the last home stretch, the 'Jacks earned their second season win over Grand Canyon University, 5-2, clinching the doubles point and winning on four singles courts.
After the Sunday matches, Northern Arizona will be on the road for the next six contests before returning March 13.
