Knapp Wins Sixth WAC Diver of the Week After Second Lumberjack Diving Invite

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (February 8, 2022) - Sophomore Victoria Knapp earns her sixth Western Athletic Conference Diver of the week award, after two second place finishes at the Lumberjack Diving Invite.

Knapp went to work this past weekend, as the Lumberjacks hosted the second Lumberjack Diving Invite of the season. Recording not only two second places in the 1-meter, and 3-meter events, Knapp recorded a season high score, and a NCAA Zone qualifying score on platforms for the first time this season.

Posting a season high and personal best score, Knapp placed second on 3m boards with 334.50. Also placing second, Knapp finished with a score of 282.95 on 1m boards. Knapp placed sixth on the platforms, with a final score of 230.85, marking her first NCAA Zone qualifying score on platforms. 

The sophomore will next compete during the WAC Championships Feb 23-26.
