FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (February 5, 2023) - The Lumberjacks are heading back on the road for three games this week, beginning the road trip in Pocatello, Idaho to take on the Idaho State Bengals tomorrow night at 7 p.m. MST.
NAU is looking to bounce back from an overtime loss at home on Saturday night, falling to Montana for the first time this season in a 80-76 game in Flagstaff. The game was the fifth of the season to go to overtime for the Lumberjacks. The Jacks loss to Montana moved the team to 13-11 overall while going 7-4 in Big Sky play through the season. The Jacks moved to fourth in the Big Sky standings after Saturday night's conference games.
Idaho State is coming off a win at Weber State, snapping a six game losing streak. The Bengals improved to 9-12 overall while 4-6 in conference play. ISU is eighth in Big Sky Standings, with eight games left in the regular season.
Callie Bourne has stepped up as the offensive leader for the Bengals, with a team-high 279 points so far this season. Bourne has posted a 39.6 percentage from the field, while also making her mark defensively with 152 rebounds. The graduate student put up 16 points, seven rebounds, and two assists in the Dec. 29 game against the Jacks.
