Colbert Earns All-American Honors in 100-Meter

AUSTIN, Texas (June 8, 2023) – Alyssa Colbert was the lone Lumberjack competitor on the second day of the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships, and put up a strong effort in the semifinals of the 100-meter.
 
Colbert entered the race ranked 33rd in the nation but finished 21st overall in the semifinal round. Her time of 11.39 was her third fastest of the year and earned her honorable mention All-American honors.
 
The Lumberjacks will resume competition at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships tomorrow as David Dunlap competes in the 200-meter final at 7:36 p.m. MST and Nico Young competes in the 5,000-meter final at 7:55 p.m. MST.
