Haylee Phoenix Earns Golden Boot Award Following Big Sky Regular Season

FARMINGTON, Utah (October 31, 2024) – Bringing in the award with five goals in Big Sky play, Haylee Phoenix has officially been named the conference's 2024 Golden Boot Award winner.

The Golden Boot Award is given to the student-athlete with the most goals scored in conference play.

Phoenix scored five goals over four conference matches, recording one multi-goal game against Northern Colorado. The senior separated herself amongst the league's other top scorers when she netted her fifth goal of the year in the regular season-finale on Sunday against Idaho State.

The Fontana, California native leads the Lumberjacks in points on the season (10) and ranks second in the Big Sky in points through conference-only games. She is the first Lumberjack to earn this honor since Madison Montgomery in the spring season of 2021.

Phoenix and the Lumberjacks look to keep their momentum going in the postseason with a trip to the Big Sky Championships on deck. Northern Arizona has secured the No. 4 seed and will take on fifth-seeded Sacramento State in the opening round on Nov. 6.
