FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (December 20, 2024) – Northern Arizona Women's Tennis, alongside head coach
Ewa Bogusz, has released its schedule for the spring 2025 season. The Lumberjacks will have 10 home matches and seven away matches.
NAU kicks things off in Tucson, Arizona for their first two matches, one against the Cal Poly Mustangs on Jan. 19 followed by another against the Arizona Wildcats on Jan. 20. In the 2024 spring season the Lumberjacks hosted the Wildcats in a match where Arizona came out on top, 2-5.
The Lumberjacks first home match of the season is against the Cal State Fullerton Titans on Jan. 31.
The Lumberjacks will also host schools such as the Mesa Community College Thunderbirds on Feb.7, The New Mexico Lobos on March 2, the Richmond Spiders on March 11 and in-state rival the Grand Canyon Lopes on March 12.
NAU has their first Big Sky Conference matchup on Feb. 21 when they travel to Pocatello, Idaho to take on the Idaho State Bengals. This is one of the four road conference matches that the Lumberjacks will compete in. The other Big Sky teams that they will be going on the road to take on are the Idaho Vandals on March 15, Eastern Washington Eagles on March 16 and the Portland State Vikings on March 23.
The Lumberjacks' home matches for Big Sky play are against the Montana State Bobcats on March 12, the Montana Grizzlies on March 29, the Sacramento State Hornets on April 5 and the Weber State Wildcats on April 12. That match against Weber State will be senior day for NAU and its final regular season match of the spring 2025 season.
