FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (March 10, 2024) – NAU tennis (7-4) is heading on the road to start a three-match road stretch, as the Jacks are set to take on San Francisco (4-5) to start things off.
The Jacks are currently on a three-match win streak with win to Abilene Christian, Air Force, and Portland State.
Dominik Buzonics led the Jacks to their first Big Sky victory of the season, while NAU swept the Portland State Vikings in a 7-0 match in Flagstaff. Buzonics went 2-0 in the match beginning with a doubles victory at the No. 1 with partner
Jakub Prachar in a 6-3 match to clinch the doubles point.
Buzonics moved back up to the No. 1 in singles play as well, earning a 6-3, 7-5 win to PSU's Andrea Brignacca. Buzonics improved to a 5-4 overall singles record and a 5-2 overall doubles victory after the win.
Semen Agynskyy leads the Jacks in singles play with a 6-1 overall record, while
Dani Torres trails closely with a 6-2 record. On the doubles side,
Dominik Buzonics and partner
Jakub Prachar hold a 4-2 record, matched by
Maikel De Boes and
Piotr Galus.
The Dons are heading into the match with a win to Jessup under their belts. San Francisco has two wins to Big Sky opponents Weber State and Sacramento State while the Jacks will look to hand them their first loss to a Big Sky opponent.
