Box Score SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (March 11, 2024) – NAU Men's Tennis (8-4) snags fourth-straight victory with a close 4-3 win over the San Francisco 'Dons on Monday afternoon to kick off the three-match road stretch this week.
A crucial doubles point was claimed by the Jacks with a NO. 1 victory by
Dominik Buzonics and
Jakub Prachar in a 6-3 victory while
Dani Torres and
Maciej Ziomber secured the point at the No. 2 in a 7-5 win to move things on to singles play.
Torres grabbed a victory at the No. 2 slot in 6-4, 7-5 fashion to give NAU their second point.
Jakub Prachar tabbed a victory with a 6-4, 7-6, 6-3 match at the No. 5, while Ziomber closed things out at the No. 6 in back-to-back 7-5 victories to close things out at 4-3.
Buzonics dropped at the No. 1 in a 4-6, 4-6 match, followed by
Maikel De Boes in a 0-6, 4-6 match at the No. 3, while
Semen Agynskyy dropped at the No. 4 in a 1-6, 7-6, 6-7 match.
